Fact:Time in a baby carrier counts as tummy time.Time spent in a sling can help develop many of the same muscles as are strengthened during tummy time. When babies are carried and held, they don’t have the problem with flattening of the head as frequently.

Choosing a Carrier

At Mother Nurture we offer a variety of comfortable, stylish baby carriers.  We recommend that you come to the store and try each type of carrier.  The right carrier will depend on your lifestyle, goals and body.  You may try carriers pre-baby with our weighted demo doll or bring your baby in after birth.  All of our carriers can be used from birth through toddlerhood and be worn on the front, back and hip.  It’s never to early or late to learn about or start babywearing.
